One of CEDITRAA’s big strengths lies in the project’s combination of a broad range of methods, disciplinary approaches and data analysis techniques to obtain scientific insights into our study topics and areas from multiple angles while also critically reflecting upon our own approaches. On 4 and 5 October 2021, we are proud to gather an international crowd of methodologists for an interdisciplinary workshop which explores different approaches to the study of Cultural Entrepreneurship and Digital Transformation.
The first day will be dedicated to text analysis and visual analysis using machine learning and big data techniques. Presentation and discussion topics will range from AI-emotion recognition on image data to visual optimal distinctiveness in product design.
On the second day, we will focus on the intersection of culture and digital ethnography, with talks covering platform dynamics on Instagram and TikTok as well as hybrid ethnography and ethnographic approaches to digital folklore. Please have a look at the full programme and our speakers below.
